Voici le pinceau que j'ai acheté il y a deux jours... Je le trouve très bien, mais comme je suis vraiment une newbie en nail art "fin" à l'acrylique, j'ai besoin de vos avis : est-ce selon vous un bon achat (je l'ai payé 4 euros 90) ?

This is the thin brush I've bought two days ago. I find it very good, but since I'm a real newbie regarding acrylic pain nail art, I need your opinions : is it according to you worth the 4,90 € I paid ?

Comment allez-vous ? Moi super ! Après avoir passé la semaine à visiter Paris de fond en comble et à jouer à la guide touristique (blonde et pas très efficace, je le conçois !), j'ai réussi à ramener des petits vernis à la maison !

En premier lieu, voici ce que mes amis m'ont ramené de l'étranger :

How are you ? I'm grand ! After having spent my last week visiting the whole Paris and acting like a rep (but very blonde and far from being effective), I manage to bring back a few polishes home :

First, this is what my friends brought me from abroad :

Des vernis sans marque - rose, bordeaux, argent, rouge, blanc - mais qui sont très jolis et ça fait très plaisir (ah si ! Flormar est assez connu et pas mal du tout !)... Le laqué bordeaux est superbe, je m'en suis servi pour ma dernière déco.

Those polishes, appart from Flormar, aren't famous but they are very cute and every polish gift makes me happy... The bordeaux laquer is just gorgeous, I used it for my last mani.

Je suis également passée chez SEPHORA et NOCIBÉ et j'ai osé dépenser mes petites pépètes dans de magnifiques couleurs : 

- deux vernis SEPHORA : un laqué chocolat Coffee in NY, et un "métallique" vert Diving in Malaysia (le dupe du Péridot de CHANEL)

- un vernis pailleté marron et vert OPI : Warm & Fozzie

- un vernis crack jaune DEBBY (depuis le temps que j'en cherche un !)

- un laqué vert foncé/canard DEBBY n°138.

En me promenant par hasard dans une boutique de modélisme, j'ai également acheté mon premier pinceau de détail marthe kolinsky 3/0... Je vais enfin pouvoir essayer de faire des traits fins (je galérais avec mes pinceau ebay :D)

I have also been to SEPHORA and NOCIBÉ, and yeah I dared spending a few cash for those wonderful colours :

- two SEPHORA polishes : a chocolate lacquer Coffee in NY, and a green "metallic" Diving in Malaysia (CHANEL Péridot's perfect dupe)

- a sparkling green and brown OPI polish : Warm & Fozzie

- a yellow crack from DEBBY (I was looking for one for months !)

- a dark green lacquer from DEBBY n°138.

I also walked randomly in a model makers shop, and found my first detail kolinsky 3/0 brush. I will finally be able to try very thin nail art (because with my ebay, was a hard work !)

Voici la manucure que j'ai tentée cet après-midi : la french bicolore inspirée par une publicité Yves Saint-Laurent.

Je l'avoue : cela n'a pas été facile du tout. D'abord, même si je m'entraîne depuis un ans, étaler du vernis foncé, ici noir, n'est pas mon point fort... Deuxièmement, faire cette french avec un vernis plus ou moins pailleté, donc assez épais est très dur, surtout pour ma petite main gauche ! J'ai donc utilisé des guides.

Les vernis dorés sont tout de même assez dificiles à dompter, car translucides et épais. Donc même avec deux couches, la couleur n'est pas à 100 % uniforme, surtout à l'ombre ! J'avais essayé avec le Gold de Gosh dans un premier temps, mais les trous dans la couleur rendait la french très fade (ma maman m'a même demandé si c'était une french argentée !)

J'ai fait des petits points discrets au dotting puis passé mon top coat adoré de chez Essence (une bonne alternative au Sèche-vite bien que moins efficace)...

Bref, une manucure simple, assez rapide à faire. Mais une maîtrise de la french à main levée est plus que nécessaire... Sinon celle des guides. Ou si vous avez le temps, dessiner le sourire avec un pinceau fin... Mais ça risque d'être assez difficile avec ce type de vernis doré.

Here is the mani I tried this afternoon : the bicolour french manicure, that I saw on an Yves Saint-Laurent's advert.

I have to admit that it hasn't been easy at all. First, even though I'm training for one year, I'm not very good at putting some dark -  black - polish. Secondly, doing this french mani with a sparklingish varnish, that is a bit thick, is quite hard, especially for my left hand (since I'm left handed). I had to use those litlle french manicures tip guides.

Gold polishes aren't easy to handle, because they are translucent and thick. So, even with two coats, the colour can't be 100% solid, especially under the shade ! I had tried with the Gosh Gold in the first place, mais the holes that appeared in the colour had made the colour very bland (mum even asked me if the tips were silverish !)

I drew a few small dots with the tool, then put my favorite Essence top coat (that is very good when you don't have Seche Vite anymore even if you can't  replace LE seche vite !)

So, a simple a quick mani. But you have to do very well french tips. Otherwise you have to know very well the tips guides :) Or maybe using a liner, but since gold polishes are hard to control...

Vous aurez remarqué, j'ai coupé mes ongles, c'était d'une part pour ce type de manucure que je trouve plus joli court, d'autre part parce qu'ils étaient bien long depuis un moment, et je sentais qu'ils commençaient à ne plus tenior le coup, donc je les fais un peu "respirer" :D

And here are the pictures I took this afternoon ! You may have noticed that I cut them, firstly because I like this type of mani when it's short, secondly they have been long for several months and they started being weaker so I let them breathe a bit :D
